Hi,
Anyone who have rolled out Zune to your users who have locked down Windows 7 clients? We install Zune on the clients via SCCM and that works fine, but when the user connect their WP device Windows wants to install 3 drivers. For one of the drivers you need to be an admin. Does anyone have a good solution to install all the drivers automatically? I don't think we are the only company rolling out Zune and Windows Phone to our users. There must be a lot of corporate users out there...

You need drivers to communicate with USB devices. This is how it always is. Why not just install the drivers?

His issue may be scale. If he has hundreds, even tens, of clients, or if they are distant, it may not be logical to simply login as admin and install on each client.

So then if you are remotely configuring your clients computer and issuing the windows phones, remotely include in your configuration file the USB drivers. This is standard operating procedures.
