Installing old apps from SD card

Is that possible now? Because it says at the top, that "some apps on this card may be out of date. If you choose to install an out of date app, we'll provide the update for you to install".

I have a couple of games that are 500MB to 900MB, but they're older versions (Asphalt 8, Six Guns etc). And i really don't want to have to download them again. If the message means what i think it means, that would be great! However when i do put these apps on my SD, they don't show up. No updates, nothing.

Is there anyone who can explain the message for me?

What you have is an outdated version of an app/game in the store. Get the latest version and it will install.
