Interesting Battery Issue

I don't know what to make of this/hoping someone else on the forums has seen this. I could run the device to let's say 60% and decide to power it off (for example on the plane yesterday) turn it back on and it now shows more battery %. It jumped up to 80%! I have only charged the device once since I just got it. Could this just be a calibration thing since it hasn't gone down to 0 yet? Update issue? Any ideas?

Actually after about 10 minutes of being on it re calibrated itself back to 60%. I am wondering if it just needed time to calibrate back to where it needed to be?

From what I can tell, Windows Phone isn't all that accurate in its battery reporting. At least compared to iOS and Android. However, since switching to the 1520 - I no longer care how accurate the battery level is as I always have enough to get to the end of the day!

All my phones have done that to some extent. I think it is a little more pronounced on Nokia's however.
