Internet Explorer on phone is too bad

So I was trying post a question on Yahoo answers. And I was not able to do it on Internet Explorer on phone. And even though I have chosen to render desktop versions of websites IE still gives me mobile versions. Many websites are not compatible with IE on phone as well as on PC. For example virtual keyboard on debit and credit card pages doesn't work on IE for desktop. I had to use my mother's Xiaomi Redmi 1s to post a question on Yahoo answers. And there I realised that Android is really good for now compared to Windows on phone. But I'm still holding on to Windows. Currently I feel that not much would come with Windows 10 for phones, not much would change. And if it comes true I'll be switching to Android or something else.

microsoft fixed this issue with the 8.1.1 update which tells websites that its an iphone or android so they display properly. And don't blame MS, blame the yahoo for not optimising their site

Well, there are issues that i so not like too. I can not set a start screen. I guess ms fears i would set Google as my start page

p.s. And i dont like i can not edit my written words in the First line while writing this

IInstead of a home page you could pin your favourite site to the start? I don't remember safari having a home page when I had my 3GS years ago.

Doesn't matter who you blame. It only matters that many, many Web sites do not work in IE. This is true on the desktop and even moreso on mobile. As a Firefox user, I can attest that browsing with IE is a terrible experience. I never have any compatibility issues with FF.

Nothing has been fixed. I'm using the latest dev preview. Why should I blame Yahoo? The only browser that doesn't render it correctly is IE on phones. So I feel MS is the culprit here. Even though I'm a MS and Windows ****** I could still point out the problems with Windows on phones and not blame others for its shortcomings.

it can be hard to do some things on IE mobile sometimes but not impossible as far as I know, when reading posts like this I feel like an isheep only with Microsoft instead of apple lol, I mean if I cant get something done on my phone I just forget about it, and never bother to find out if it is possible with other OS

Then you are not providing your valuable suggestion about the platform. You are making it like as if WP didn't come with the functionality of making calls or sending texts, you would still be fine with it.
