Is anyone really listening?

I was just wondering if any manufacturers look at these forums to maybe gauge what people want. I know it's not likely but I've heard of it happening.

I'm hoping the news and editorial board takes plenty of news out of this forum and publishes it. I've seen many of the news from this site being quoted at various spots, which is nice.

However, only if they caught the true sentiment and highlighted it often and boldly! - that's the way to lure manufacturer attention. Even if they don't go into the forum to read threads, a fine news article a day summarizing the forum should help them!

I read this forum's news daily on my "Weave" app on my Windows Phone and then decide if I want to go into the forums or not. Not the best way to decide yet, but if news were a summary of what's going on, it would be even more helpful!
