Is Cortana available in Yorkshire?

I live in Huddersfield and have recently upgraded to Windows 8.1, but in my settings it says that Cortana is not available in this region. I thought she had been made available in the UK, but is that just in certain places?

You need the 8.1.1 update for Cortana.

You need a software update which will likely be released alongside a firmware update called Denim, which will be on wide release by end of this year or early next.

The update is available if you sign up to the free developer preview (Google how).

Alternatively, you can also enable the US version if you change some of your settings to US (region, speech and language).
