Is Groove Music worth the money

I just recently purchased the Groove Music Pass. Since it is the end of the month things are tight for me and in looking at my budget, $120.00 a year is a big chunk I could use on other things.

This is a tough question. I'd encourage you to register and post letting us know exactly what your usage is and whether Groove Music Pass is the only service out there that will fit your needs.

Have you looked into Spotify? That is another music app that is good.

I've ran through these music apps and Spotify does have every artist imaginable but the app is slow as crap. And groove is the opposite, they won't have every artist but most of them and the app is fluid and quick compared to Spotify. A free alternative I found last night that is basically the same thing is called Musicis and it's really nice for being a free app.

I find the website is pretty good, and the Windows app isn't bad. The Android app is pretty barebones... I can't speak to the quality of the iOS app.

I got 2 years worth of service on the Pi day. for 31.4 dollars per year. Pretty good deal since this allows me to listen to and discover new music all the time; but I'm not willing to pay a monthly subscription for it... Especially not 10 bucks a month!

It's your call, but for me Groove music is well worth the money, I have 350 albums downloaded to my phone, HP stream 7, Surface Pro 3 and desktop, I can also listen through my Hi-Fi connected Xbox, I can add as many albums as I want, when I want and listen off line to my hearts content.

My wife is a much lighter user, but even for her, having the almost unlimited choice compared to trying to find CD's or listen "Radio" style is well worth it.

I absolutely love Groove Music. I got the yearly pass(es) when they were on sale. I believe around christmas 2014 for ~$50 for 12 month and 2015 at pi day for ~$31.4 for 12 month (bought 2 of those).

It is super easy and it syncs to all your devices. I listen to music on my PC, then on the way to work on my phone and when ppl are over I use my surface to play the music on. Making the songs available offline is very neat. Also the selection is pretty huge.
