Is it me, or are some Push Notifications (toast/alert) slow?

Loving my Lumia, but noticed something odd. And I wouldn't consider it to be a problem, personally - more of a curiosity.

Is it me, or are push notifications from services like Facebook and Twitter/Rowi, for example, slow? Coming from an iPhone, these were normally, near instant.

I'm talking - someone comments on something on Facebook. 15-20 minutes later, maybe half an hour (in some cases), the phone notifies me.

Am I crazy? Or is it normal?

I haven't noticed this, but I don't use the Facebook app and I don't have Twitter. The Facebook notifications in my People Hub seem to work normally and update as they should as far as I can tell.

Are you using the actual Facebook app?

Does the Facebook app use push, or a background task, which can only update every 30 minutes? Push can/should be close to instant. For example ProSports Scores updates my live tile every 60 seconds.

Yes because Mehdoh refreshes the live tile only once every 30 minutes. And how do I get instant twitter notifications on my me tile?

They are slow, certainly not instant anyway.

The app can run in the background. So I suppose it's only every 30 minutes.

There's no "time setting"... to have it refresh, however. Only

If Windows Phone's built in Facebook would notify me, I'd use that
