I have a lumia 920 (running w10m) and if it's down to 5-10% it can take up to 1 hour/ 1h.30m max. Obviously I don't touch the phone while it's charging.

The battery of a 520 is 1430 mA and from a 640 2500 mA..
So the battery of the 640 is 1.75 times "bigger" resulting in a 1.75 times longer charging time.
1:30 hours x 1.75 = 2:37
2 hours x 1.75 = 3:30
So it's "normal" that it takes about 3 hours to charge your 640.

Bye the way you have chargers with an output of 550 mA, 750 mA, 1000mA (1A) and 1500mA (1.5A).
The output of a charger also determines the charging time so if you want to charge faster get a charger with a higher output. (but the 520 always will charger faster due to the smaller battery)

By mMicrosoft company default charger output voltage is 750 mA
So is iI safe to use 1000 mA or 1500 mA charger to my Lumia 640???

Yes no problem. The only reason why you get "only" a 750 mA charger is money. A 750 mA charger is cheaper so to get/keep the price low you get it. The best is to get an original (or otherwise from a good brand) Nokia/microsoft charger.

Good luck.

hello! my old charger(lumia 720 and can change the cable) the plug dont show the mA, in output its 1.3A and input 0.20A its better tan the charger of the 640? i guess the old charger may vary the power with the cable

Yes the 720 charger is better, will charge the 640 faster, because it is 1.3 A and not 750mA (=0,75A) and the cable you can also use to connect the phone to the PC.
