Is it only me or WM10 preview is really buggy ?

So i decided to become an insider yesterday and installed Wm 10 on my lumia 920. I read WC every day and follow wm 10 news, builds, changelogs and after waiting for 10 months i was pretty confident that preview would run acceptably on my device. Sadly, even after hard reset my phone is always loading start screen for 5 minutes or sometimes not loading it at all... every time I receive an sms message and try to reply from lock screen my phone freezes and i have to use force shutdown (forgot the real name of this operation), and there's unbearable amount of glitches (mail not working, clicking popup menus does nothing, etc. etc.), the best one is: No clock or info on the lock screen, just walpaper So, it's not hard to guess that I'm trying to downgrade to 8.1 now. But I became curious if it was only me, or preview is really unstable ? Maybe it's my fault choosing slow ring ? Also no gif support ? Thanks for the answers

10166 is way outdated - go fast ring next time, its vastly improved since then. It's not perfect, but its a whole lot better than I thought on my 820. (older builds before that were kinda poor on the similarly equipped 920)

I am not sure if MS mantra to make windows 10 as service is to always release a beta half baked feature with a justification of being it a service, that wud get constant updates

I originaly asked this question and I'm curiuos. My friend (when he saw my crippled phone) said that lumia 920 is not on the official supported devices list (like 640 and 930) and that experience will always be worse on 920... Is this true ?

No it's not. The 920 is supported and as xandros9 mentioned, 10166 is really outdated. Update to the latest 10586.3 build released today and the difference would be night and day.
