Is it possible to add RAM memory to Lumia 520?

Hi my name is DEEPAK I m from India I m using L520 just want to know whether we can increase the Ram memory by adding it externally , just like the rooted android phones, in android phones they can turn their memory card into Ram memory by partitioning and using some kind of tools do Lumia phones have same kind of capacity?, don't ask me to buy android phone coz I love windows !

Simply put, you can't do this on Windows Phone. You're effectively stuck with the RAM that came with your phone.

And, even if you could, the firmware would most likely render this unsupported.

If this has ever been possible on an Android phone, understand that it would not be faster. In fact, it would be possibly even slower than having the device swap to internal memory when RAM ran out. (Now that I think of it, do mobile devices swap?). It's just not a good idea overall. Regarding your phone, while 512MB isn't great, WP is generally very good with running on lower-spec phones, so don't worry too much - your phone will perform better than more expensive Androids
