Is it possible to move Edge Browser's cache to my data drive from my small SSD?

I've got a 128 gb SSD drive on my new laptop, and I'd rather have Edge deposit the browsing cache to my 1 tb HDD. I'd much rather save the space for more important things. Is this possible? I've managed to do it with Chrome, but Edge's file structure is quite different. Has anyone accomplished this, and if so, how?

I tried this also hoping for a registry hack.
Appears to be a bad idea from what I see reading around the web.

I think regular wipes with a file cleaner is the safest option.
Hopefully someone on here has a better answer.
