Is it still worth it to buy a surface laptop 3?

I really want a surface laptop but it’s a year old at this point. Is a new one coming soon?

Judging from reviews, the AMD version is slower than the Intel version, but other than that, there's nothing wrong with grabbing a Laptop 3.

I thought the Surface Laptop 4 was due out this year too. But haven't heard anything yet.

I was surprised to see that there's a Surface Laptop Go came out in October - scaled down that fits between the Go and SL3. I'm using the 2 and had to start over reset recently and not wanting or needing more. It's always docked and hAs 27" 4K along with mouse & kb.
