You also get the opportunity to build up your library of content early to carry forward to the next-gen Xbox, which makes sense since the Xbox Series X won't have "full" exclusives for a couple of years or so after launch. Plus, trading-in or selling your Xbox One will be easy to do for the next-gen Xbox Series X.
