Hi, I'm a Windows Phone Developer and it's hard to find packages that are compatible with wp7, so it is difficult to develop new apps that share code between wp7, wp8 and windows8.

I think it's a little percent that still are in wp7 (arround 10%, but can't find this information updated). And they are probably gonna switch their phones soon. But in the other hand, an app that is compatible with wp7 can help some more users.

What do you think about it?

Thanks,
Bruno.

Hi Bruno,

I've moved your thread to the Developers Corner forum, since that way other developers will see your question and be able to assist you better.

In short, no. WP7 support is ending in September or October, like Win XP
