Is messaging search slow for you?

I've noticed that searching through messages takes a long time when you use the search function
The moving dots are really small so you sometime think the search hasn't even started
And when the results are shown, the search bar overlaps the first results unless you press the back button

Same OS build, Lumia 1520.
There are really a lot of messages spanning over 3 years.
The search results are shown instantaneously, the moving dots take at most 2-3 seconds if no results show up.

Do you have a lot of messages? Is the Skype SMS feature (Messaging Everywhere) enabled? That could be the reason, I don't have it enabled.

I've not even signed into skype so I doubt it is on
