Is Microsoft 'Timeline' good or bad?

After reading about upcoming w10 Fall update(RS3) features.
I like the Timeline feature.
About this, many thoughts are coming in my mind.
- Do we really need it in unstable W10 platform?
- Will it drain more battery, because the latest noninsiders (RS2) build drains my latest w10 laptop in couple of hours than previous build.
- will it affect the performance of w10 device?

i really like this feature.
sometimes i close some app or even worse the computer goes down.
with the timeline i think that it wont hurt anymore to restore all the work.
lets wait and see the power of this feature

Depends if it can be used with a local account, if so then it could be ok, but it will need a disable switch if people to disable it.
