Is my headset compatible with the new Elite controller?

Is my headset compatible with the new Elite controller

I own some Astro A40s and M80 mix amp,(built specifically for the Xbox One).Because my mix amp covers the bottom of the controller,therefore covering the jack port,will I have any problems with communication or game sound?

Shouldn't have any issues unless you actually need access to the 3.5mm jack.
