Is the 1520.3 a worthy upgrade for the 1020?

I am thinking of upgrading from my 1020, however I am in love with the camera. I am on Tmobile USA with a carrier unlocked 1020, but even with a factory unlocked 1020 I cant get the internet sharing to work. I have a friend with a 1520.3 on Tmobile and the internet sharing works flawlessly. So my question is, have you upgraded from the 1020 to the 1520 and do you think it was a worthy upgrade? was it worth the loss of 20MP?

I'd say yes. The camera on the 1520 isn't on the same level as the 1020 but it's more than acceptable for most cases. So, unless the camera is a majorly important feature for you I would say the 1520 is a great upgrade. Also consider the features which the Denim firmware will bring which won't be coming to the 1020.

The camera is certainly my most-used feature on a phone, and I can say that YES-- upgrading from the 1020 was a great move.

I now have a phone with no compromises on Windows Phone or hardware features. The size is fantastic, and while it's a little big to hold, it's not as bad as I'd expected.

Camera quality is perfectly acceptable and having access to Living Images and eventually Lumia Camera features make it worth it.

Its not just about MPs. The 1020 has a Xenon flash and the 1520 doesn't. I had a 928 and upgraded to an Icon and now a 1520. The 928 had the Xenon flash with 5MP. The Icon doesn't with 20MP. The flash made a huge difference in darker situations. I would say the 928 had a better camera than the Icon. From what I can tell the Icon and the 1520 have identical camera, but I only recently got the 1520.
