Is there a CDMA version of the 830 coming out?

The three model numbers for the 830 I've seen thus far have all been GSM devices, but it appears that some of the Canadian carriers running CDMA networks (MTS, Telus, SaskTel) will also sell the 830. I'm in the US so I could be wrong about the Canadian carriers, but does this mean we'll also be seeing a CDMA version of the 830?

Doesn't look like VZW will get the 830, at least not anytime soon.
Sprint? Maybe the 735, and VZW isn't selling the 735 until next year for whatever reason.

No. None of the Canadian devices will be CDMA because every Canadian company has transitioned to GSM. MTS is the only one not to confirm it'll jettison CDMA entirely but all smartphones sold in Canada are GSM. The last CDMA smartphone sold in this country was the Blackberry Style which was 2010.

Thanks for the information - the US is phasing out CDMA as well (with the plans to go to LTE for voice and messaging eventually) but I didn't know about the Canadian carriers.
