Is there a way to be able rotate the screen when I create a new calendar event?

Screen will rotate everywhere else (except Facebook app, but that is another matter), but the screen will not rotate when creating a new event in the calendar on Windows Phone 8.1. I'm using Nokia Lumia 620.

Do you have screen rotation lock turned off in settings, also some apps do not allow this.
