Is there any way to rollback from win 10 to windows 8.1 update 2 on lumia 930

Hello, I have windows 10 latest build on my lumia 930, I wonna rollback to windows 8.1 update 2, but I don't know how to do that. I can rollback on windows 8.1 but without update 2 but I need that update 2. Is there any way to do that?

I was wondering that too. Every time I roll back from 10 I don't get 8.1 update 2, just update 1, even though I used to have update 2 on my Lumia 930 before I "upgraded" to 10.

It' not problme for me what I will losse everything from phone, but I still will not get 8.1 update 2, I will get only 8.1, and when i try with Windows Insider i only get upgrade to windows 10 not on windows 8.1 update 2

İt was installing updates for the first. Then uninstall insider app, you got update 2. Is that changed?

because to get update 2 was through the "preview for developers" app, not insider. insider came along for Windows 10, preview for developers was the previous version for windows phone 8.

sorry, I no longer have a windows 8 phone atm.

but search the store for "preview for developers"
it should be a similar process to insider. now, i am not sure MS is still pushing update 2 that way.

That's weird, I'm pretty sure I had update 2 without the preview for developers thing, at that time, I didn't even know such thing existed.

If I remember correctly, the preview for developers was not responsible for update 2. When WM10 preview was initially released via the insider program, it was a two step update, the first of which took you to Update 2, followed by another update to WM10. In that case, if you just did the first update, and then declined preview builds through the insider app, you would have been able to enjoy just Update 2.

Only yesterday, I updated my 930 through the insider app, but it landed directly on WM10. What that means is that you may no longer be able to roll back to 8.1 update 1 and then use the path above to step up just to update 2. So it will be either WM10 or WP8.1 Update 1.

Again, I am not an expert, but I think this was the sequence of events to go to Update 2.
