Is there notification for app update?

I have found that, the application for WP are seldom updated. And I'm unhappy with that.
And I have found again that, it's not quite true.
Because I have found that, the application are updated without any notification for me. (And it really seldom updated for some app.)

So, does it has the notification. but I didn't see, or it really does not.

You should be getting notifications on the Store tile when an app update is available. On average I probably get notified about one to two app updates a day.

The store tile will show a number corresponding to the number of updates avail.

From my understanding, the phone checks for updates once every 24 hours

It does show on store tile in my laptop. But for my Lumia 920, it doesn't show at all.
Did I do something wrong. or else way setting could I fix this

I always looking in the store for new app. And I found "here city len".
At first, I thought this is a new one. But after that, I found it is the update of Nokia city len.

So, I'm getting start to lookback in store for my own app.

And now if you able to find the way to interrogate me, like this.
You should be able to find out the rest.

it is not your fault. Mine doesn't show anything from day one of release until recently. Now it suddenly start showing updates. I used to use WPCentral's articles for my update notification and links to force my apps to update.

This seems to be a hit or miss issue with wp8. I didn't get notifications on tile for like a month and now I get them. Some were getting them and now they aren't. The updates are there and you can still update apps, You just have to find your app on the store and select to update. It may start working for you one day and it may not. Just another issue with wp8 right now.
