Is there really no 'Open' button in the ribbon???

I just got a Surface Go 3 a couple of weeks ago and I mainly use it with the touchscreen, no physical keyboard. I got really used to opening files using the 'Open' button in the ribbon on my old Surface with Win10 and now on Win11, it's not there! I have to tap+hold the file I want and open it from the pop-up menu--or open the touchscreen keyboard and hit 'Enter.' Surely this will be added in a future update, right???
