I can't speak for the 7 Pro specifically, but the Arrive (US Sprint variant of the 7 Pro) is a great device and I haven't had any hardware issues.

I got the phone on launch day, it has been great for me. The GPS is a little off sometimes, But US Cell said their working with HTC to help improve the GPS on the device. Its a much get!
