Went out to buy some games for my system today and was welcomed with a lot of PAL CDs. MY console is NTSC. Later most of the shop assistants kept on telling me that all new Xbox 360 consoles are region unrestricted (meaning I can run both PAL and NTSC CDs). I doubted this and wanna confirm if this is true before I buy.
Any insights into this please?

I haven't heard of such a thing happening nor do I think MS would allow it.
