Is this why devs are coming over to the tile side?

I'm not a dev (yet), but following on the article posted the other day about the number of devs creating WP apps...

I came across this article that discusses the gargantuan and chaotic Apple app store. It seems it's very hard to get attention over there. I was wondering if that is impacting decisions to code for WP, or just coincidental.

The App Store Is Ancient And Outdated - Business Insider

What's your story?

Apple AppStore outdated?

How?! It's always about what you can get not how to get. I have to say the AppStore wins from any other store on any other OS.

My guess is that coding for WP is interesting because WP is now getting more market share.

Did you read the article? It doesn't matter if something is available to you if you can't find it.

Good reading.
I've always thought less would be more.

Interesting how it was pointed out that it took 23 swipes after searching to land on the desired app.

I know we battle on about how many apps in the collection.
Seems to me that counting beans in the jar becomes meaningless if there are a "1000 apps for that" that can't be found with a simple search.
Maybe Apple could hook up with Google to figure out how to bolt together a better search feature.

Looks like Apple may have forgotten to look past it's fist full of dollars.
