It is impossible to know at this point what apps will be available for Windows 10 that are not currently available. However, we do know that Microsoft is taking steps to make it easier for developers to introduce new apps. An OS can't change that. The only thing that can narrow the gap is a lot more market share. Will WP10 lead to a lot more sales? We can only hope, but even if it does it will take time.
