Issue with memory card in lumia 520

I bought a new memory card, sandisc 16 gb class 10. when i copied files from my old memory card to new one,every file gets added to "other" folder when i check in storage sense. My music player has become too slow. And now if i insert my old memory card it also shows every file in "other" folder,previously it was working fine. Please help me regarding this.

Prior to using the card did you format it in WP? Were the folders created? Was your phone set up for SD card?
