It's official: Laura is the Mod Team Leader starting.... NOW!

Afternoon all!

Quick note. This afternoon I just finished up switching accounts and permissions around for Dave and Laura. Dave will no longer be around in our private area, but he will no doubt still be an active member (at least I hope he will be!!!).

Laura has all Mod Team Leader permissions and has the new title/badge of Mod Team Leader. I'm looking forward to working with Laura and all of you going forward. This is an exciting new time for WPC!!!

That's all for now, just wanted to let everyone know this is 'official'.

Actually, Laura will have the same color as everyone else on the team. This is no different that all other sites on the Mobile Nations network. No moderator or ambassador (with the exception of Dave) has EVER had admin privileges (where the red coloring comes from).

To explain this, when Dave was added to the team, he was granted administrative privileges. Not sure why or how (was before my time!), but this was how it was setup. Having discussed this at length with legal and tech, it is in the best interest of our communities that only a select few Mobile Nations staff be granted admin privs. I'm sure you can understand the potential risks and concern here!

That said, Laura is your team leader, and will show the way! Anytime she needs to flick a switch or setup something new that requires a few seconds of admin attention, I'll be nearby ready to jump into action!

Actually the colours don't matter to me. They only did when I was showing up as blue by mistake, not green. You probably remember that campfire chat LOL.
