Windows Central Question

I've accidentally spilled tea all over my surface type cover 3, I've cleaned it with damp cloth and dried it and then I attached it back, now it doesn't work. I've put it in rice. But now I think that I shouldn't have attached it back. What should I do, I'm really scared.

I'd give it a day or two in rice before attempting to reconnect it.

You shouldn't have reattached it if you were being impatient, but on the other hand, don't feel bad, there's no way of knowing whether that was the final straw or whether the keyboard already kicked the bucket.

I'd leave it alone for a couple days and then cross your fingers and try. Liquid damage is always a pain.

I suggest washing it before the rice IF there were a sugar in the tea.
