I personally don't think many people can get there copy of 10 on the day of launch. Remember when more lumia devices were supported for windows 10? Took me a day to get through

If you're referring to Windows 10 Mobile, this won't be released on July 29.

If you're referring to Windows 10 for computers, then yes people will get it on day one. Windows updates happen different to Windows Phone.

I wasn't talking about release date of w 10 Mobile. Isn't going real slow if you want to download your copy?

The Windows update servers are pretty meaty, they'll be able to take the load fairly easily

Also, doesn't the reservation allow to predownload most of the update so you don't have to download the whole thing on the 29th?

Yes... The update will be downloaded in the background but the notification will be displayed only on 29th July.. There was an article on it

Windows 10 looks like it'll be deployed in phases.
