Just experienced something weird with my brand new 1520

Hi everyone. I just got the matte green 1520 on Monday and haven't had any issues with it whatsoever (after having gone through 3-4 1520s in the past due to screen sensitivity issues). However, just now (!) my screen shut off by itself, the capacitive buttons lit up and the screen turned to static. I did a soft reset, the phone worked fine for about 10 minutes and BOOM! The same thing happened again! I soft resetted again and so far, so good.

I've had bad luck with the 1520 line and am now contemplating returning my device for the 830 (which I've heard nothing but good things about from users). Any advice on what may be causing this specific issue I just mentioned above with my 1520?

Okay, my advice is to keep using it, and see if it does that again for a third time in the next 24 hours. If it's a bad unit, return it, of course,

Did anything bad happen to your phone, like a drop or something? Does it overheat?

It hasn't been dropped (I've been babying this thing like crazy). No overheating (so far it's always stayed cool). Just as a precaution, I went ahead and turned off Glance and so far it seems to have worked because it hasn't done it since...

Weird...haven't seen that before. I've had two new 1520's in the past 30 days - the first one had a bad proximity sensor (the second one is perfectly fine) but never have seen anything like you've described.
