Hey guys, apologies if there's a special thread for this but I didn't see it.

After two days my Lumia 1520 has arrived from Amazon! Very excited to get it in my hands I'll list my first impressions below.

Big! Damn the phone is pretty big as expected, but thankfully I can still get a firm hold on it, and it feels really nice in my hand. Aside from having to use two hands to type (Only needed one on the 520) I'm sure I will adjust quickly.
Screen looks really good, and I can't wait to play some games, and watch Toib on it. Unfortunately the battery came bone dry so it's sitting on the charger at the moment.
I know I asked for some color/storage opinions around here but I ended up being boring and getting the Black 16GB. I didn't feel adventurous enough to try Yellow, and while I really wanted to go for Red I didn't hear a lot of good things about the quality of the glossy material.

Can't wait to try it out over the next few days, going to get my Iphone 5 sim switched tomorrow since it's starting to storm here.

Congrats on your 1520. I have 2 (1 red 1 black) and I prefer the red. It's actually less slick than the black. Also it has the best tech in any phones display. Performance is good, but with developer preview, it has alot of small bugs and performance took a hit, until the actual release and firmware.

Thanks guys! Already have a question, is there a way to turn off the Windows Keys backlight? I prefer it to only be on during a quick touch, and am worried it always being on would drain battery.

nope no way to switch the light off though it's off when your battery saver is on! you can off the vibration

Did you do 2 year contract or just bought it outright
I upgraded with a two-year contract. We're with AT&T and I was due so I figured why not instead of spending $550 for it off-contract. Things are coming full circle now, my first contract was an Iphone 3GS, second was a Galaxy S2, and now I'm on a Lumia 1520. Now I just need to jump to Blackberry in two years (If they're around!) and I'll have locked in every OS.

32 or 16 I am also debating which one to get ..
I chose 16 after debating for awhile I just decided I didn't want to spend $90 more for 16GB extra of storage when I already have a 64GB Micro SD Card. I also figured for around $90 I could go and get an 128GB Micro SD instead and get a lot more storage.
