Just got my 1520 and there's something different

Hey everyone I just got my 1520 and the Nokia logo is missing on the backplate. Here's a look see, is this the beginning of the Microsoft Lumia transition?

So you only have PureView Zeiss branding on the back of your phone? And what is your RM code?

Yes there's only PureView on the back now. Its the At&t version I think its an RM 940. It took forever for At&t to ship it too.

I believe AT&T models don't have Nokia logo at back. I don't know the reason but it's just the way it is.

What about the Nokia branding under the front speaker, or on the start screen?

The branding on the front is there its just the back that is plain.

Correct, I have the Red AT&T Branded Lumia 1520 and it does NOT have the Nokia branding on the back. The green one doesn't either.
I also am unsure of the reasoning behind this, my gut tells me that it is related to the AT&T 1520 not having the QI charging built-in so they needed another back plate

I'm so irritated over the Qi charging being taken out. I just went to the att store today and they didn't even have the display model out for the 1520. On top of that the rep was trying to sell me on budget Android followed by Iphone 6 plus and I just came from Apple to try something new. I'm satisfied so far.

1520.3 from B&H with Qi and LTE $499

For off-contract buyers I don't think it's a big deal...

Yah its definitely not, I was just reading that some of the APN's weren't working that were online if people were using them for like straight talk or cricket. I was gonna get the .3 but ill be alright the att model for now. I'll spend more when the next one comes out whenever that may be.

I have the .3 version purchased from B&H a couple months ago. It does not have any Nokia branding on the back either. Nor does it have Carl Zeiss branding.
