keep screen from locking during playback?

Is there any way in Xbox Music (or Nokia Music, for that matter) to keep the screen from locking during music playback? Yes, I know, it will use more battery power, but I'm tired of having to unlock my device and wait for an app to resume if I want to skip over or repeat a song while I'm driving or at the gym. Can someone shed some insight on this?

not particularly what you are looking for , but there is a way. Head into phone settings->lock screen->screen times out after->never.
