Keyboard and touchpad not working.

I had to rever back to windows 8.1 because of issues persisting at larger scale. But now the keyboard and touchpad for my HP pavilion 15-n225tu laptop have stopped working. It works when on bios screen but as the windows starts it doesn't work. What may be the issues here?

Check your OEM support site for the latest driver set BEFORE 29, July, 2015 as those would be good for 8.1

I have tried that and installed the driver but it still doesn't work.
