keyboard layout

hi all, i tried set it the language section but it didnt change the key board layout. i tried everything before but nothing seem to change it. Basically i want the format which has the pound sign on 3 key and-the @ on the ' key. how do i do that? thanks very much.

It's probably helpful to add some specific details of your set-up. Which OS version are you using etc?

do you have the relevant keyboard installed and selected as default? Do this from settings >time and language > keyboards
