Is there a good Kindle app where I can download all my books onto that I have on my Amazon account?

You mean besides the official Amazon one? I haven't used it too much but it seems like a first rate app and syncs my library, bookmarks etc just fine.

Thanks, I didn't know the Surface app did that, the one I have on my phone doesn't.

There has been a Kindle app available since Windows 8 was in beta. If you searched and couldn't find it, you might want to try again. It might have been a quirk in the store. Just searched both Amazon and Kindle and the Kindle app shows up at the top of the list.
