Kinect voice commands disabled in some countries?

I've heard about Kinect voice commands being disabled in some countries with heavy accents, like New Zealand and Ireland for example. Are there any fe. germans here who got the Xbox One that could confirm/deny whether they have voice commands in english at least (might even have in german?)

Also if you're country has it disabled, I would like to know.

It's apparently a temporary solution while they try to work something out so that it would work with the local english accents, but I'm just worried they would fe. disable the voice commands for me if they havnt got around to making them in finnish yet, but so far it seems to be countries that speak english, but with heavy accents..

Hmm, that's odd. I could see that being a problem in the US, since people in some parts of the US have heavy accents too.

I agree. I have a Texan accent and also am curious as to if the Kinect will recognize some of my verbal commands.

Changing your region on Xbox Live apparently brings the feature back, but I guess this might be problematic for other reasons like with the Store purchases?
