Kobo app for windows RT removed or what? Or why?

That is odd. I have the app but I don't see it in the store either. I clicked the Kobo app link in the article and is says the app is no longer available.

Found this on kobos fb. "As the Kobo app for Windows RT has been disabled (because the Dev Team is working on it), some features were not supported due to it's "bugginess".

There's no ETA of when it will be back in full, running form. But it should be available shortly!
