[L1020] Screen is broken my friends I have 1 year warranty period will I get any favor ?

accidentally my L1020 screen has broken...i have the warranty period... my friend said to me that if u have warranty u will have to pay (10%) ....... and 90% will be paid by the company and u must got to nokia care,,,,,,,,is that true ? will i get any favor ?

Yea, I've never heard of it.
Only thing was HTC's special perk program including one free screen replacement with a new HTC One.

I personally don't believe it at all, but still, don't take our word, go get in touch with Microsoft support.

Goto to YouTube and look up "le55ons".. Guy shows how to replace screen. I'm telling you that coz I replaced my screen after dropping my phone..

Replacing the 1020 screen is a child's game... Just one screw where the micro-sim are, and that's it. With your fingernail and a credit card you can take off the screen. Don't need anymore.

did you have to buy a whole new digitiser or can you just get the screen separately? i see things like this on ebay NOKIA LUMIA 1020 OUTER LENS SCREEN DISPLAY GLASS PAD REPLACEMENT N1020 DIGITIZER | eBay whereas a full digitiser with frame seems to be in the ?70-80 region :/

Go for full display assembly. You can take apart the gorilla glass off the LCD screen, but it won't be easy, it has a lot of glue, and if you aren't very carefully with that glue, I'm very sure that you will crash your LCD.
