My L920 is losing 15% battery every night on standby, Id like to know if its also happening to any of you, because Im not so happy about this. :(

edit: wifi off, bluetooth off, localization off, 3g off, everything off

yea, I had the same problem at first, it is really random so I'm not sure of what to tell you but apparently the solution to ANY problem, according to what Ive read here in wpcentral is: soft reset, if that doesn't help, then hard reset, if you still have problems go and exchange it for yet another windows phone... not very useful is it? hahah anyways I would advise you to reboot, as the OS miscalculated the battery % when turned on again it should show an increase... they also say that making full charge cycles is helpful. Is your phone running gdr3 ?

Ive done soft reset already but nothing changed. Did you do the hard reset? Or you are still having that problem? My phone is running Amber (thats gdr2 right?)

I feel your pain, Camila. My 920 completely died overnight too. I just wonder if it has something to do with the connection I get in my boyfriend's house, though, because this never happens when I'm at home... My phone was at 56% battery when I put it down for the night. When I woke up this morning, I checked it to see the time but it was dead. Then I charged it fully and the battery drained from 100-89% in less than an hour, which has never happened with my phone before. Really crazy! Since then, I've kept my phone connected to its charger just because I'm paranoid of the battery going before we leave for my house tonight.

soft one fixed it for me, but I did it because the phone suddenly crashed and died, not because of the battery issues, I haven't updated to gdr2...
try doing the full cycles at least a couple of times... it's a shame that nokia's hardware performs in such a poor manner because of msft's buggy os

Definitely a software related issue!
OS and firmware bugs are responsible for this!
Let's hope that until WP8.1 update all this will be fixed!
It's a shame for Microsoft,Nokia,HTC to pretend nothing is wrong and don't provide an update fix!(Hopefully GDR3 is coming soon)
Also i cannot understand how a corporation like Microsoft creates an OS that cannot even handle dual-core CPUS nowadays!

Well, this battery drain is random in nature. I mean I had this issue , so disabled almost every background app and kept a check on settings. It helped , but again on some days I can see battery drain. What I have observed for this drain is when ever your phone has a weak signal on LTE and apps like whats app or FB is run , that's when battery drain starts and it continues till soft reset. Nokia , you need to address this..

Thank you all for replying, I did soft reset and my battery still sucks on standby, Ill just wait and see if gdr3 fix it :)
