L920 doesnt recognize earphones

Basically what the title says. I updated to GDR3 yesterday and today I plugged in my headphones. However my Lumia 920 doesn't recognize that the earphones have been plugged in which means I can't listen to music. I've tried multiple headphones, so it's not just one in particular. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Have you tried a soft reset? Hold the volume down and power button for 10 seconds, or until you hear the vibrate. Don't do anything else. See if this works.

This happened to me once before gdr3 and restarting my phone fixed it

Same here with my HTC 8X. Plug in headphones and the phone doesn't recognise anything.

Have performed a hard reset and has not made a difference. Headphones working fine before the update. Don't think this can be a coincidence.
