Lag issues when gaming on my Windows 10 machine

A lot of popular games I've been playing seem to lag on my almost new Dell XPS. The laptop should be able to handle the games just fine. The lag seems to come randomly out of nowhere.

Hmm... I remember telling you in an older thread that your Dell XPS SHOULD be able to handle a lot of newer games...

Which games are you playing?

Is it mainly multiplayer games?

Have you tried lower a setting or two? as I'm not too sure which graphics card your laptop has.
