I have lenovo laptop and after upgrading to windows 10 it becomes very very hot and battery goes down soon what should i do to prevent this?
i have thinkpad lenovo . it is new and my ram is 8 GB and the cpu is core i7 2.4 64 bit

it means there is a program that is utilising the processor to it's max or something is updating in the background

Keep it charging while in use - you can also disable store app updates from running automatically
Do a restart and then check if it behaves the same
