Laptop not detecting external display

Just got a Predator Helios 300 laptop. My external monitor isn't detected by the laptop. I checked with other monitors and cables, they won't work either. I've updated my drivers (I manually downloaded the proper GTX 1060 drivers from Nvidia's website), uninstalled and reinstalled them, set the laptop display refresh rate to 60 to match my monitor, nothing will work. I checked that my monitor had the proper output source detected as well. This is all done with me restarting in between to apply changes of course. Still no luck. Before installing the new drivers, I couldn't roll back any of my drivers because the drivers that came with the laptop are factory. The option is grayed out. I tried clicking detect in the Windows Display settings of course too, but no other display was found. Please help!

Thanks,

Jonathan
