Latest Nokia update, alpine Bluetooth car stereo, lost track control

Since updating my Nokia 625 to the latest update I can no longer change the music tracks on my alpine Bluetooth stereo using the stereo, can only change tracks through the phone which defeats the point of me forking out for a Bluetooth stereo which is compatible with Nokia/windows phones, I've reset the Bluetooth connection and the problem remains. Any ideas on what I have to do to fix this.

Sometimes I get the same issue on my MyLink system. I either have to delete the connection from my phone and car and repair it, or just restarting both my car phone solves the issue
