PB_H posted this thread earlier and since I felt he was actually trying to sell his stuff via eBay, I moved it to "Marketplace".

Then it felt like he added more links to external website - I deleted the post.

I've had 4 PMs and he isn't happy at all.

Then he posted this thread again in Marketplace and you rightly deleted it as he doesn't get it! - I am struggling to understand what he wants to do. Laura do you know what he wants? Any PMs from him yet?

However - Dave et al. what is our policy when we can't figure out if the items on eBay are the posters' i.e. he using our forums to up his sales or if the poster is helping out the crowd in forums?

The way he has defended his posts in PMs makes me think, he wants to sell his items here more than helping anyone else.

I would issue infractions if he does not follow the Marketplace rules, despite previous PMs.

If he wants to sell an item he has in his possession, he has sufficient post count to properly list the item.

He doesn't say this is an item in his possession. He says "he is recommending a seller on eBay and a third party site" for an item that most 820 users don't find easily!

That sounds like it could be self promotion.

Glad to see there is someone who thinks alike! I've hence deleted first post, you deleted second. I've left him a PM that I will let other mods consider this and whatever the team decides will be the outcome. For now those threads will remain deleted - let's see what he comes back with.

He's already been noted in the person of interest thread for his behavior and responses to mods in pm. It was mentioned then if he started this behavior again to infract him or as Dave said "If he starts insulting people again you all can contact me and I will ban him at that time."

This is the same guy who was arguing about device sizes. Then he whined about mods being unfair to him.

Oh, and for the record, I agree that the marketplace is for personal items only.

Real simple rule here no ebay links are allowed anywhere on WPC. Only exception would be if someone is recommending an item in a review and the person is offering a low cost alternative for purchasing the item.

If the guy is being a problem complaining in PM'S I will be glad to address him. Let me know if I need to get involved.
