LG Quantum is going nuts

I was using seven-eighter to update to 7.8 and noticed I could no longer text or access wifi or add accounts after the update. I was able to use recover to get the phone to the update before 7.8 but I can't access messaging, wifi, add accounts, about phone or anything of importance. I attempted to do a factory reset but that hasn't done any good either.

So I try using the Walshed Phone Support Tool but I'm getting unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click quit, the application will close immediately.

Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {77cb935d-d0cc-4249-8643-3c387a514a27} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (exception from HRESULT:0X80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)).

I am at a loss on how to get this phone back to working order so any help would be awesome.

Were you sure to include all the previously installed languages with the update? This sounds like you're missing some packs.

I think I might have not selected french. Which is my probable cause for this. Any way to remedy?

Oddly enough, if I switch the phone to italian or spanish everything works. But only those languages. any suggestions

You may need to install the language packs using the cab method, there's a way to do it

Ok I fixed the issue
Using this thread: [CAB] Official WP7 Updates List up to WP 7.8 + ALL LANGUAGES complete + OEM updates - xda-developers
Downloaded the WP7 Update Cab Sender
First I download the 2 cab files for 8112 followed by the appropriate language packs cabs for 8112 DOWNLOAD THESE FIRST AND PUT THEM IN A SEPARATE FOLDER
Next I downloaded the 2 cab files for 8773 followed by the appropriate language packs for 8773 PUT THESE IN A SEPARATE FOLDER FROM 8773
Next I copied the cab files from the 8112 into the Update Cab Sender folder, ran the program and sent the cabs to my phone
Once 8112 was reinstalled, I removed the 8112 files from the cab sender folder and replaced them with 8773's cabs, ran the program and sent the cabs to my phone.

SUCCESS.

My PC doesn't even recognize my phone when I start to attempt to add the Cabs and all drivers are installed
